BLUE-CAR Fast-Curing Windscreen Adhesive

BLUE-CAR Fast-Curing Windscreen Adhesive is a professional one-component polyurethane adhesive designed for bonding and installing automotive glass.

The moisture-curing formula combines high mechanical strength with high viscosity and good stability, allowing the adhesive to retain its shape without running during application.

It is suitable for installing windscreens as well as side and rear vehicle glass. The adhesive can be applied to glass and metal body panels and provides strong adhesion to both smooth and rough surfaces.

Once cured, it creates a waterproof, vapour-resistant bond with good resistance to UV radiation and adverse weather conditions.

For improved adhesion and protection against UV radiation, use with BLUE-CAR Windscreen Adhesive Primer where required.

APPLICATION

1. Thoroughly clean the glass and the bonding area on the vehicle body.
2. Clean and correctly prime any paint damage exposed while removing the old glass.
3. Apply BLUE-CAR Windscreen Adhesive Primer to the prepared bonding area where required.
4. Trim firmly bonded old adhesive to a thickness of approximately 1–2 mm. Remove any loose or poorly bonded material.
5. Open the cartridge and prepare the application nozzle.
6. Apply a continuous, even bead around the complete bonding area. Overlap the beginning and end of the bead to ensure a complete seal.
7. Position and install the glass before the adhesive begins to form a skin.
8. Maintain the required temperature and humidity during installation.
9. Do not move or drive the vehicle until the safe drive-away time specified in the relevant technical documentation has elapsed.
