BOLL Windscreen Cutting Wire Threading Tool (Puncher)

BOLL Windscreen Cutting Wire Insertion Tool is designed to pierce through the adhesive bead surrounding bonded automotive glass.

Its specially shaped tip allows the cutting wire to be guided through the adhesive layer, preparing it for attachment to suitable handles and subsequent windscreen removal.

APPLICATION

1. Locate a suitable point in the adhesive bead surrounding the windscreen.

2. Carefully push the shaped tip through the adhesive layer.

3. Attach or insert the windscreen cutting wire into the tool.

4. Pull the tool back through the adhesive to guide the wire into position.

5. Detach the tool and secure both ends of the wire to suitable windscreen cutting wire handles.

Use appropriate hand and eye protection and take care not to damage the glass, dashboard, trim or vehicle bodywork.
