Shipping & delivery

We deliver across the UK. The delivery cost is always shown in your basket before you pay, so there are no surprises at checkout. Rates depend on the delivery zone your address falls into. Deliveries outside the UK are quoted on request, see below.

Delivery zones & rates

Zone 1: UK Mainland

• Standard delivery: £3.99, free on orders over £50.
• Next Day delivery: £4.99, free on orders over £100.

Zone 2: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands & Islands and offshore

• Standard delivery: £7.49, free on orders over £150.
• Next Day delivery is not available to Zone 2 addresses.

Zone 2 covers non-mainland and remote postcodes where our couriers apply a surcharge, such as Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and offshore areas. The correct rate is applied automatically from your postcode at checkout.

Republic of Ireland, Jersey and Guernsey

We do deliver to these, but not at a rate we can put on the site: they sit outside the UK VAT area, each parcel needs a customs declaration, and the courier prices them case by case. Tell us what you need and where it is going and we will price it for you, usually the same working day. Get in touch and we will come back with a delivered price before you commit to anything.

Delivery times

• Standard: typically 2 to 3 working days after dispatch.
• Next Day (Zone 1): next working day when you order before our daily cut-off.

We dispatch Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays. Delivery times are estimates from our couriers and are not guaranteed, but the vast majority of orders arrive within these windows.

Tracking

Once your order is dispatched we email you a confirmation with tracking, so you can follow your parcel to the door.

Customs (Northern Ireland & Ireland)

Orders to Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland may travel with a customs declaration. UK VAT applies to orders within the UK, including Northern Ireland. For the Republic of Ireland, any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are the recipient’s responsibility.

Dangerous goods

Some paints, aerosols, solvents and chemicals are classed as dangerous goods and may be restricted to certain services or areas by our couriers. If we are unable to ship a particular item to your address, we will contact you before dispatch and arrange a refund or an alternative.
