More about this product
BLUE-CAR Brushable Seam Sealer is a one-component, solvent-based sealing compound designed for automotive bodywork and sheet-metal repairs.
It is suitable for sealing welded, spot-welded, bonded, folded, overlapping and soldered metal joints. Its non-drip consistency allows controlled brush application and helps the applied layer retain its shape until completely dry.
The sealant provides good adhesion to raw, primed and painted metal surfaces. Once dry, it creates a highly flexible coating that can be overpainted with acrylic and other automotive paint systems.
Three variants are available: standard Grey, Beige and Aluminium-Filled Grey. The Aluminium variant contains aluminium filings, while the Beige version is particularly suitable for repairs requiring a beige factory-style seam finish.
KEY FEATURES
- One-component formula – ready to use without mixing with a hardener.
- Brushable consistency – allows controlled application to body seams and joints.
- Non-drip formulation – remains in place after application.
- Flexible finish – forms an elastic coating after drying.
- Good adhesion – suitable for raw, primed and painted metal.
- Overpaintable – compatible with acrylic and other automotive paint systems.
- Three variants – available in Grey, Beige and Aluminium-Filled Grey.
- 1kg container – suitable for regular bodyshop and restoration work.

APPLICATION
- Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface.
- Ensure the application area is dry and free from dust.

Uncured excess material may be removed using a suitable nitrocellulose or acrylic solvent. Once fully cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
