ITALKO Windscreen Cutting Wire 22.5m - Silver

ITALKO Silver Windscreen Cutting Wire is manufactured from braided, high-strength steel strands with a square cross-section.

Its construction provides an effective cutting action through strong, multi-component automotive glass adhesives, making it suitable for windscreen, side-window and rear-window removal.

The thin wire can be passed between the glass and vehicle body. Where the seal is not bonded to the body, this method can help remove the glass without damaging a reusable seal.

APPLICATION

1. Use a suitable wire threader to pass the cutting wire through the adhesive layer.
2. Attach both ends of the wire to suitable windscreen cutting-wire handles.
3. Use controlled pulling or sawing movements to cut through the adhesive around the glass.
4. Take additional care around corners, trims and painted body panels.
5. Replace the wire if it becomes damaged, kinked or excessively worn.
