ITALKO Rust Eliminator & Corrosion Inhibitor

ITALKO Rust Eliminator & Corrosion Inhibitor is a penetrating treatment designed to stop the development of corrosion and protect rust-affected metal surfaces against further oxidation.

Applied to a correctly prepared surface, it penetrates the remaining rust, isolates and removes moisture from corrosion spots and helps seal and strengthen the substrate.

The treated surface can subsequently be covered with compatible polyester products, primers and other refinishing materials, making the product suitable for automotive body repairs, restoration work and general metal maintenance.

APPLICATION

1. Remove loose rust, flaking paint and any poorly adhering material manually or mechanically.
2. Thoroughly remove sanding dust and degrease the surface using a suitable degreaser.
3. Pour the required amount of product into a separate clean container.
4. Do not place tools contaminated with rust or dirt into the original container.
5. Apply the product evenly using a brush, roller or spray gun.
6. For spray-gun application, use a 1.0–1.3mm nozzle at a pressure of approximately 2.0–2.5 bar.
7. Follow the product instructions before applying subsequent polyester products, primers or coatings.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Remove loose rust and poorly adhering paint before application.
• Do not contaminate the original contents with rusty or used tools.
• The product reacts with moisture; close the container tightly immediately after dispensing.
