FITTING AND USE

1. Confirm that the mask size and filter combination are suitable for the wearer, contaminant and exposure level.
2. Inspect the facepiece, valves, cartridges, filters and retainers before every use.
3. Fit both activated-carbon cartridges securely using the bayonet connections.
4. Position the P1 R particulate pre-filters over the cartridges and secure them with the supplied retainers.
5. Place the mask over the nose and mouth and adjust the head straps evenly.
6. Perform the required seal check before entering the contaminated area.
7. Replace filters or cartridges according to the manufacturer’s instructions, workplace assessment and established replacement schedule.
8. Clean and store the reusable facepiece in a clean, dry location after use.
