ITALKO Premium Air Random Orbital Sander 150mm - 5mm (3/16") Orbit

ITALKO Premium 150mm Pneumatic Random Orbital Sander is designed for efficient surface preparation and finishing in bodyshops, paintshops, fabrication workshops and general industrial environments.

Its 5mm orbit provides an effective balance between material removal and surface finish, making the machine suitable for sanding body filler, primer, paint, metal and wood.

The 150mm hook-and-loop backing pad allows compatible abrasive discs to be changed quickly. Its 14+1-hole configuration supports dust extraction through the included extraction adaptor when connected to a suitable vacuum system.

Operating at up to 12,000rpm, the sander provides fast and even surface treatment while its pneumatic drive is suitable for regular professional workshop use.

APPLICATION

1. Confirm that the compressed-air supply is clean, regulated and capable of delivering the required airflow.
2. Install the supplied air connector and check that all connections are secure.
3. Fit the 150mm hook-and-loop backing pad using the supplied spanner.
4. Attach a compatible 150mm abrasive disc, aligning its extraction holes with the backing pad.
5. Connect the dust-extraction adaptor to a suitable extraction system where required.
6. Set the working pressure to the recommended 6.2bar/90psi.
7. Start the sander before placing it flat against the work surface.
8. Move the machine smoothly across the surface without applying excessive pressure.
9. Allow the abrasive and tool speed to perform the work.
10. Disconnect the compressed-air supply before replacing abrasives, servicing or cleaning the tool.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Do not exceed the recommended working pressure of 6.2bar/90psi.
• The air supply must be capable of providing approximately 220L/min.
• Always use a compatible 150mm backing pad and correctly sized abrasive discs.
• Align the abrasive-disc holes with the backing pad when using dust extraction.
• Do not operate the sander without a correctly fitted backing pad.
• Keep the backing pad flat against the surface and avoid excessive edge loading.
• Wear suitable eye, hearing and respiratory protection.
• Use effective dust extraction, particularly when sanding paint, body filler, wood or hazardous coatings.
• Ensure the workpiece is stable before sanding.
• Follow the manufacturer’s lubrication and maintenance instructions.
• Disconnect the tool from the air supply before adjustment, cleaning or maintenance.
• Abrasive sanding discs and an extraction vacuum are not included.
