ITALKO Stone Chip Protection Coating (UBS)

ITALKO Stone Chip Protection Coating (UBS) is a durable, spray-applied protective compound designed for vehicle bodywork and underbody components exposed to stone chips, gravel, sand and road salt.

The coating is manufactured from synthetic resins and rubber and contains no asphalt or bitumen.

Its high solids content helps preserve the applied surface structure during drying.

Once dry, it forms a durable and flexible protective coating with a nearly flat finish and a subtle texture.

It provides excellent resistance to abrasion and impacts from stones and gravel while also protecting against water, salt, petrol and oils.

The coating offers anti-corrosion and sound-damping properties and can be overpainted with automotive topcoats.

APPLICATION

1. Remove rust, dirt, grease and loose material from the surface.
2. Ensure the application area is clean and completely dry.
3. Protect adjacent surfaces with suitable masking materials.
4. Mix the product thoroughly until it has a uniform consistency.
5. Apply using a suitable UBS or stone-chip coating spray gun.
6. Allow the coating to dry completely before applying an automotive topcoat.
