BLUE-CAR Stone Chip Protection Coating (UBS)

BLUE-CAR Stone Chip Protection Coating (UBS) is a sprayable protective compound for automotive bodywork and underbody areas exposed to gravel, stones, sand and road salt.

Its synthetic resin and rubber formulation creates a durable yet flexible coating with high resistance to abrasion and stone impacts.

The product contains no asphalt or bitumen and its high solids content helps retain the applied surface structure during drying.

Once dry, the coating produces a nearly flat finish with a subtle texture. It protects treated surfaces against water, salt, petrol and oils while also providing anti-corrosion and sound-damping properties.

The completely dry coating can be covered with acrylic and other compatible automotive topcoats.

APPLICATION

1. Remove dirt, rust, grease and loose material from the surface.
2. Ensure the application area is clean and completely dry.
3. Mask adjacent components and surfaces that are not being treated.
4. Mix the product thoroughly until uniform.
5. Apply evenly using a suitable UBS or stone-chip coating spray gun.
6. Allow the coating to dry completely before applying an automotive topcoat.

Application conditions and drying times may vary. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Do not apply to brakes, the exhaust system, engine, gearbox or other components exposed to high temperatures or where the coating could interfere with correct operation.
