ITALKO Black Dry Guide Coat Powder with Applicator

ITALKO Black Dry Guide Coat Powder is used during sanding to reveal scratches, low spots, raised areas and other imperfections that may be difficult to see on primers, fillers and undercoats.

The black powder provides clear contrast on light-coloured surfaces and remains inside scratches and low areas during sanding, making defects immediately visible.

Its solvent-free dry formulation requires no masking or drying time. The surface can be sanded immediately after application using either wet or dry sanding methods.

The supplied applicator helps distribute the powder evenly across flat panels, edges and contoured surfaces.

APPLICATION

1. Ensure that the filler, primer or undercoat is completely dry before application.
2. Apply a small quantity of guide coat powder to the prepared surface.
3. Use the supplied applicator to gently spread and rub the powder evenly across the area.
4. Ensure that the powder reaches scratches, pinholes and other surface imperfections.
5. Begin sanding using the selected wet or dry sanding method.
6. Continue sanding until the guide coat has been completely removed from correctly levelled areas.
7. Powder remaining in scratches or low areas indicates that further sanding or corrective work is required.
8. Clean the surface thoroughly before applying subsequent refinishing materials.
