BLUE-CAR Yellow Abrasive Paper Roll is a versatile paper-backed abrasive designed for manual sanding and compatible machine-sanding applications.

The abrasive incorporates stearate technology to help reduce clogging and maintain effective sanding performance. Supplied in a 115mm-wide, 50m-long roll, it can be torn or cut to the required length for use by hand, with a sanding block or with compatible sanding equipment.

The available grit range covers aggressive material removal, surface levelling, intermediate preparation and finer finishing work.

GRIT SELECTION GUIDE

• P40 – very coarse sanding and aggressive material removal
• P60–P80 – coarse sanding, shaping filler and removing old coatings
• P100–P120 – intermediate sanding and surface levelling
• P150–P180 – refining previous sanding marks and general preparation
• P240–P280 – finer surface preparation and smoothing
• P400 – fine preparation before applying compatible coatings

Always select the grit according to the material, existing surface condition and required finish.

APPLICATION

1. Select the appropriate grit for the material and required stage of preparation.
2. Tear or cut a suitable length of abrasive paper from the roll.
3. Use by hand, fit it to a compatible sanding block or install it in suitable sanding equipment.
4. Sand using even pressure and controlled movements.
5. Regularly remove accumulated sanding dust from the work area.
6. Progress through finer grits when a smoother finish is required.
7. Replace the abrasive section when it becomes worn, damaged or excessively clogged.
