ITALKO 2K High-Build Acrylic Primer Kit is a complete professional system consisting of grey acrylic primer and the correct quantity of hardener.
Its high application viscosity allows thicker coats to be applied, effectively filling sanding marks, deep scratches and surface imperfections left after working polyester body fillers.
The primer provides good flow and uniform coverage while creating an effective insulating layer between polyester fillers and acrylic topcoats. It offers anti-corrosion properties, cures quickly and is easy to sand.
The included 160ml hardener is the correct quantity for the supplied 800ml primer, providing the required 5:1 mixing ratio.

APPLICATION
- Thoroughly clean, dry and degrease the surface.
- Mix the grey acrylic primer with the supplied hardener at a ratio of 5:1.
- When mixing the complete kit, combine all 800ml of primer with all 160ml of hardener.
- Mix both components thoroughly until a uniform consistency is achieved.
- Apply using a spray gun with a 1.6–1.8 mm nozzle at 2–4 bar.
- Allow approximately 5–10 minutes of flash-off time between coats.
- Apply the number and thickness of coats required for the desired filling effect.
- Allow the coating to cure fully before sanding or applying subsequent coatings.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Once the primer and hardener have been mixed, the usable working time is approximately 1 hour at 20°C.
Only mix the amount required if the complete kit will not be used during one application.
