More about this product
Anti-gravel is a synthetic resin-based agent.
It forms a flexible coating, which perfectly protects against stone impacts and mechanical influences.
It is used to protect sills, bumpers, spoilers and other car body parts.
The product shows very high abrasion resistance (resistance to stone impact).
It can be painted with all paint systems.
Surface Preparation
Metal :
Prime and sand the surface. Blow off sanding dust and degrease with BOLL Silicon Remover, then apply another coat.
Non-ferrous metals :
(zinc, aluminium, copper, etc.)
Prime and sand the surface. Blow off sanding dust and degrease with BOLL Silicon Remover, then apply another coat.
Reactive primer :
Apply the next layer after the primer has dried.
Epoxy primer :
May be used to isolate materials. Sand with P150–P320, blow off sanding dust and degrease with BOLL Silicon Remover, then apply another coat.
Two-component acrylic primer :
Apply a dry guide coat or control lacquer. Sand with P240–P320, blow off sanding dust and degrease with BOLL Silicon Remover, then apply another coat.
Polyester putties :
Sand with P120–P320, blow off sanding dust and degrease with BOLL Silicon Remover, then apply another coat.
Important Information
Do not spray towards the engine, transmission, brake components or exhaust system.
The product can be over painted.
Application
1. Prepare the surface
Thoroughly clean and matt the surface.
2. Degrease
Thoroughly clean and degrease the surface with BOLL Silicon Remover.
3. Treat corroded areas
For corroded surfaces, we recommend using BOLL Rust Converter or BOLL Anticorrosive Paint.
4. Mix the product
Mix thoroughly before application.
5. Apply the product
Apply 2–3 layers from a distance of 15–20 cm.
6. Observe the drying time between layers
Allow 5–10 minutes between individual layers.
7. Recommended coating thickness
The recommended coating thickness is approximately 1 mm.
8. Overpainting
The surface can be painted after approximately 3 hours.
When using waterborne paints, allow approximately 24 hours before painting.
9. Clean the valve
After use, turn the container upside down and spray until the valve is empty.
