BLUE-CAR Acrylic & Basecoat Thinner is a universal mixture of selected organic solvents designed for professional automotive refinishing applications.

It is suitable for thinning acrylic paints, solvent-borne metallic basecoats and compatible primers to obtain the viscosity required for application.

Correct adjustment of the coating’s viscosity supports controlled spray application and helps the prepared product flow evenly over the painted surface.

The amount of thinner required depends on the coating being used, the application method and the instructions provided in the relevant technical data sheet.

APPLICATION

1. Mix the paint, basecoat or primer thoroughly before adding the thinner.
2. Check the product’s technical data sheet for the correct thinning proportion.
3. Add the thinner gradually while continuously mixing the coating.
4. Continue mixing until the application viscosity specified by the coating manufacturer is achieved.
5. Apply the prepared product using the recommended equipment and application settings.
6. Close both containers securely immediately after use.

• Do not use a universal fixed mixing ratio for every coating.
